She was predeceased by: her parents, John Margaritis and Helen (Zareva); and her brother Alex Margaritis (Jim Tuz). She is survived by: her siblings, Pagona Koenig (Peggy) and Nick Margaritas; her nephew Alexander; her niece Suzie Polechronis (Nick); her great-niece Marissa; and her great-nephew Gregory.
