With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David Rush Sr. of Bowie, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Rogan (Richard Rogan) of La Plata, MD. and John D. Rush, Jr. of Bowie, MD.; his grandchildren, Joseph Pecosh of Bowie, MD, Melissa Haskin (David Haskin) of Welcome, MD, Katelyn Pecosh and Nicolas Pecosh of Prince Frederick, MD.; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson Haskin and Harper Haskin.
A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Beall Funeral Home (6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715).
