He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O'Brien and Anne O'Brien; his wife Regina Cord O'Brien; his son Stephen Cord O'Brien; and his sibling Thomas Joseph O'Brien.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Casey O'Brien; his grandchildren, Casey, Alexander and Zachary O'Brien; his siblings, Michael O'Brien and Kathleen Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Coene, Ann O'Brien, Marilyn O'Brien and Thomas Wood.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beall Funeral Home (6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Catholic Church (12700 Lanham Severn Rd, Bowie, MD 20720). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at 9450 Cherry Hill Rd, College Park, MD 20740. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Charles Memorial Gardens (26325 Point Lookout Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650).
