It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan S. McFadyen (Bowie, Maryland), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James. She is survived by: her children, Matthew (Sarah) and Lynn (Kevin); and her siblings, Peter (Becky) and Jane (Hugh). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
