He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert and William Comeyne. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Yates; his former wife Janet Strange; his children, Gustave J. Comeyne, III (Joanna) and Audrey Renee Comeyne (Walter Strojny); his grandchildren, Gus Comeyne, IV and Jenna Strojny; his stepchildren, Arianne Yates and Jon Bradtmueller, Jr. (Gillian); and his stepgrandchildren, Clayton Murphy, Lukas Stratton and Paige Bradtmueller.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home (16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Chapel (16501 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715).
