He is survived by: his significant other Ronnie Gordon; his wife Ruth "Debbie" Dixon; his children, Donnie Jr, Link and Lynn; his grandchildren, Joe, Shay, Bayjn, Jonathan and Madison; his great grandchildren, Kenleigh, Shane and Mila; his sisters, Gail and Georgene; his siblings-in-law, Ira, Gail, Ivan and Chris; and his mother-in-law Adelaide.
