He is survived by: his wife Valerie Barnes; his children, Ursula Blunt (Alvin), David Barnes (Monisha) and Eric Barnes (Rose); and his sisters, Bertha Colbert, Rena Meredith (Herbert) and Phyllis Barnes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
