With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric Dexter Darden (Bowie, Maryland), born in Snow Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Darden, Sr. and Lela Mae Darden. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Darden; his son Lawrence Ward (Loana) of Maple Grove, MN; his granddaughter Luciana Marley Ward of Maple Grove, MN.; his siblings, Melvin Darden (Judy), Wayne Darden (Patricia) of Snow Hill, NC, Dorothy Forbes of Wilson, NC, Brenda Hodges of Snow Hill, NC and Marsha Britt of Durham, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Thurman Ward, Donnie Ward of Stantonsburg, NC, Ethel Carter, Linda Ward-King of Largo, MD and Bernice Sharpe of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
He was honored to be selected by the Pastor to serve as Chairman of the "It's About Your Heart" Campaign to increase giving contributions to the Woodstream Family Life Center.
