Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Doris leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bowers and Thelma Bowers; and her sisters, Wanda Blanch and Darlene Davis. She is survived by: her niece Debbie Herbert; and her husband Frank.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Laurel Elks Lodge (8261 Brock Bridge Rd, Laurel, MD 20724). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Southern Memorial Gardens (10155 Ward Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754).
