She was predeceased by: her parents, Doil Leeson and Nonor Edith Crabb (Waddell); her husbands, Edward L. Carter, Jr., W. Blane Edwards and Clarence Cox; and her siblings, Betty Crabb Russel, Sony Crabb and Larry Lee Crabb.
She is survived by: her children, Lew A. Carter (Edna Faye) and Sandra T. Arnold; her grandchildren, Isaiah Daniel Arnold, Brian Allen Carter (Erin Lea), Adam Edward Carter (Jennie Silver) and Crissy Michelle Pollitt (Matt); her great grandchildren, Kaylea (Richard), Liam, Noah, Caleb, Levi and Hannah; her great great grandchild Hudson Thomas; and her nieces, Sheila Denise Collins and Drucilla Hayworth.
