It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Birdie T. James (Bowie, Maryland), who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, James Edward and Edwina Turner Perkins. She is survived by: her sister Mildred Turner (Decatur); her nephews, Henry C. Turner, Jr. (Winifred), Michael E. Turner (Olivia) and Eric C. Turner (Alfie Lena); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicole, Danielle, Erin, Leah, Mikayla, Mikenzie, Langston, Dominic and Michael. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
