He was predeceased by: his wife Helen May (Cline); his sister Lorraine Draper; his daughter-in-law Karen May (Kiser); and his parents, Margaret and Roy of Veteran's Association.
He is survived by: his son Douglas C. May; and his grandsons, Ryan D. May and Travis C. May (Hannah R. Vargason). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (64 S Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713).
