He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haupt and Olive Haupt (Lighter); his wife Patsy; and his siblings, Robert and Betty Magaha.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Donato (Jim), Brian Haupt (Stacey) and Todd Haupt (Patty); his grandchildren, Kristine Cline (Chad), Craig Haupt (Brandy), Jaime Donato, Scott Haupt (Jesse), Nathan Haupt and Natalie Haupt; and his great grandchildren, Gianna Cline, Kendall Cline, Briar Cline, Laikyn Haupt, Bryson Haupt, Emma Haupt, Willow Haupt and Taylor Haupt.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
