She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Albert Spitzig and Eleanor Louise Spitzig (Lewis). She is survived by: her children, Loretta Shacklett Duus (McShane) of Boonsboro, MD and Sean Timothy Shacklett (Christy) of Columbia, SC; her grandson William Cranstoun Duus; and her siblings, Eleanor McCarthy, Anne Leich, Paula Lewis, Karen Sazdoff, Frank Spitzig (Olinda), Joseph Spitzig (Juliana), Eddie Spencer, William Spitzig and Gregory Spitzig (Janet). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
