She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Wachter and Mildred Stup Wachter; and her brother Eugene Wachter. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Roney of Williamsport and Paul Roney (Faith) of Beavercreek, Oregon; her granddaughters, Sarah Roney of Hagerstown, Nicole Davila (Pete) of Oregon and Erika Rathjen (Jake) of Oregon; her great grandchildren, Jayden Rathjen of Oregon, Eastyn Rathjen of Oregon and Clayton Davila of Oregon; and her siblings, Martha L. Fogle of Frederick and James Wachter, Sr. (Shirley) of Chambersburg, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
