He is survived by: his wife Shirley Herbert (Showe); his children, Donna Saunders (Bruce) of Boonsboro, John Herbert, Jr. (Debbie) of Keedysville and Scott Herbert (Deidra) of Pottsville, PA; and his sisters, Betty Dodson, Joanne Schnebly, Laura Herbert and Linda Wallech. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
