James Calvin Slifer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Calvin Slifer (Boonsboro, Maryland), born in Rohrersville, Maryland, who passed away on November 25, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther B. Slifer and Orpha M. Slifer (Grimm); his siblings, Rodney Slifer, Ruth Reeder, John Slifer, William Slifer and Paul Slifer; and his nieces and nephews, Marlo and Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Slifer (Smith); his children, Dianne Collinson (Richard), Ronald Slifer and Jennifer Slifer; his grandchildren, Chris, Mike Collinson (Erin), Aaron Slifer and Melissa Huffman; his great grandchildren, Addison, Ryleigh Harvey, Bailee and Abel Collinson; his siblings, Donald H. Slifer (Connie) and Doris Mehaffey; and his sisters-in-law, Verle Slifer and Shirley Slifer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
