He is survived by: his wife Gerrianne "Gerri" Watkins; his children, Connie Kerbuski (Pat), Cheyenne Couffer and Fidelia "Vel" Hood; his stepchildren, Mathew Conway, James Conway (Sara) and Mandie Rivera (Elvin); his brothers, William "Billy" Couffer (Tina) and Robert "Bobby" Couffer; and his grandchildren, Wes Kerbuski (Abby), Bryanna Kerbuski (Emily), James Hood (Michelle), Katie Hood and Samantha Hood.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (121 N Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713). The military honors was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Post #13 American Legion (710 N Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713).
