He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Asper and Mary Catherine Wilhelm Asper; his wife Rose Linda Asper; and his daughter Crystal D. Knode. He is survived by: his sons, Edward E. Asper Jr. (Lisa) and Robert A. Asper (Michelle); his grandchildren, William VonAlt, BethAnn Byrd, Travis Byrd, Robert Asper II, Erin Bitterman, Kaylee Barton and Victoria Asper; and his sisters, Catherine Angel, Jean Haines and Ruth Kemp. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
