It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Edward Thomas of Boonsboro, Maryland, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl John and Emma Sue Moser Thomas; his wife Esther Louise Thomas (Horning); his daughter Cindy L. Mason; and his sister Mary Holder.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa L. Werst (Scott) of Boonsboro, MD, Debra A. Thompson of Shepherdstown, WV, Donna S. Thomas of Boonsboro, MD and Tracy E. Thomas (Brenda) of Boonsboro, MD; his son-in-law Vernon Mason; his grandchildren, Dusty Werst, Earl Thompson, Cheryl Jackson (Alex), Chris Thomas, Daniel Thomas (Bryanna), Lonnie Thomas (Allyson) and Valerie Mason Faith (Skylar); and his brother Leonard C. Thomas of Boonsboro, MD.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
