With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Virginia Jones of Bladensburg, Maryland, born in Columbia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 17, 2020 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Minor Brown and Kathleen Cannon Brown (Cannon); her daughter Patrice Jones Caraway; and her siblings, Geneva Makle, Eugene Cannon, Cleon Cannon and Nathaniel Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Mechelle Jones of San Francisco, CA, Scott Jones (Sunshine) of Ewing Township and Stacey Jones; her son-in-law Alfred Caraway of College Park; her grandchildren, Andrew, Timothy, LaShonda, Jannai, Corey and Chase; her great grandchild Khalid; and her siblings, Emma Green of Columbia, PA, Wesley Brown of Columbia, PA and Elaine Poindexter (Jerry) of Kissimmee, FL. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
