She was predeceased by: her parents, Linford Handy and Margaret Savage; her former husband Junior L. Taylor; her husband John Hallett; and her daughters, Candace V. Handy and Tiara Hallett.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey K. L. Taylor, Sr.; her sister Zakiyaa Salahudin; her grandson Jeffrey K. L. Taylor, Jr. (Daisey); her great grandchildren, Dailey Ray Taylor and Jettley Taylor; and her sister Linda Thomas. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
