He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Davidson and Juliet V. Davidson (Mumford); his former wife Janet B. Davidson; his wife Sharon S. Davidson; and his brother William T. Davidson.
He is survived by: his son Richard C. Davidson, Jr. (Kim) of Frankford, DE; his stepchildren, Heather Little (Robert) of Selbyville, DE and Heath Davis (Heather) of Frankford, DE; his grandchildren, Janet Davidson, Coale Davidson, Hillary Haines (Colby), Elizabeth Adkins (Tanner), Logan Smith (Matthew) and Hunter Davis; and his great grandchildren, Tillie Haines, Quinn Haines, Nolan Haines, MJ Smith and Lynnden Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Richard's name to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
