We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 97, Dorothy B. Godfrey of Bishopville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Taylor and Erma B. Shockley Taylor; her husband Everett B. Godfrey Jr.; her son Jeffrey E. Godfrey Sr.; her nephew Everett H. Godfrey; and her brothers, Billy Taylor and Gerald Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa A. Nugent (Todd) of Bishopville; her niece Tammy D. Kane (Bobby) of Ocean Pines; her sister Lois Perdue of Salisbury; her siblings-in-law, Donald W. Godfrey (Patricia) of Delmar and Alberta C. Godfrey of Pocomoke City; her grandchildren, Jeffrey E. Godfrey Jr. (Carrie), Rita S. Godfrey, Chelsea R. West, Mason E. Kane, Aiden R. Kane and Noah R. Kane; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Emily, Wyatt, Aliza Godfrey, Ruby and Remy Windsor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
