We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2023, at the age of 82, Allan Cherricks Baker of Bishopville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baker and Madeline Ruth Baker (Bunting); his grandparents, Emory, Mary Elizabeth Cherricks (Jarman), Robert and Myrtle Baker (Adkins); and his brothers, Ottis Baker, Robert "Pard" Baker, Jr., Keith Baker and J. P. Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Baker; his children, Madeline Ruth Baker Moses (Joe Hughes) of Georgetown, DE. and William Allan Baker (Kim) of Laurel, DE.; his granddaughters, Allison Margaret Moses and Madison Beth "Dollie" Moses; his nephews, Rob Baker and J. C. Vickers; his pets, Bob and John Moses; his adoptive son Billy Nibblett; his sisters, Carolyn Smith and Bonnie Vickers; his cousins, Tony Ercolino and Yvonne Ercolino; his brother-in-law Donnie Kelly; and his pet Sarge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many good friends.
