He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Addison Belt Sr. and Julia Pearl Belt (Higgins); and his sister Connie S. Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Kay D. Belt (Grove); his sons, Johnny M. Belt Jr. (Linda) and James M. Belt (Rachele); his granddaughter Sarah Belt; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Ryder; and his brother Norris A. Belt, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD 21722).
