He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Roula Hunter; his children, Nicholas Hunter (Julie), William Hunter (Karen) and Marie Hunter Frazier (Sean); his grandchildren, William, Kathleen, Alexandra (Johun), William "Dean", Thomas, Anastasia and Aleka; his great grandchild William; and his father Nicholas Avtges.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George (7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
