It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Legat D. of Bethesda, Maryland, born in Bound Brook, New Jersey, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Legat and June Legat; his wife Dr. Susan Traum Legat; his children, Angela Troilo (Mike), Alice Tayman (David) and James Legat (Kate); his grandchildren, Olivia Troilo, Thomas Tayman, Celeste Legat, Max Troilo, Miranda Troilo, Brooke Tayman and Natalie Legat; and his siblings, Jon Legat, Diana Phillips, Eugenie "Jean" Aiello and Mary Cooke.
