She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hench (Kahler) and Dr. Philip S. Hench. She is survived by: her husband Frederick H. Bowis; her children, Debra Bowis of Sarasota, Wendy Bowis (Chip Newman) of Medfield, MA and John Bowis (Cheray) of Chevy Chase, MD; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Veghte, Matthew Malacaria, Heather Malacaria, Robert Bowis, Jack Bowis, Bridget Bowis, Antonio DeCandia and Isabella DeCandia. She is also survived by loving spouses and partners; and six great grandchildren.
