With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert McKenzie Rauner of Bethesda, Maryland, born in Walden, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Rauner and Maurice "Tom" Rauner; his sisters, Madelyn and Margaret; his grandfather Bob; his grandson Nikolay Rauner; and his stepgreat-grandson Wesley Sanzone, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rauner; his children, Peter Rauner (Cynthia Hunt), Catherine Grubman (Stewart), Margaret Brodnick (Allen) and Thomas Rauner (Karen Aviles); his grandchildren, Caitlin Brodnick (Allen Arthur), Julia Crooks (Matthew), McKenzie Brodnick, David Grubman (Jenna), Conor Brodnick and Vlada Rauner; his stepgrandsons, Wesley Sanzone and Tony Sanzone; and his great grandchildren, Jamie Crooks, Lane Crooks, Louis Arthur, Rose Grubman and Ziggy Grubman.
