He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sherman Roe and Sarah "Sadie" Elizabeth Gardner; his sister Rosaile Hatfield (Gary); his pets, Starbuck and Sasha; and his uncle Tuffy.
He is survived by: his wife Patrice; his son Nicholas; his pet Desi; and his sisters, Elizabeth Smylie (Eric) and Rebecca Hughes (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
