It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Tejera of Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Tejera to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Perez and Amparo Perez; and her sisters, Beba Cabrera and Nancy Valdez. She is survived by: her husband Alberto Tejera; her children, Alina Karoutsos (Stamatios), Lilliam Nedjar and Alberto Tejera (Kathleen); and her grandchildren, Omar Nedjar, Kristina Karoutsos (Adam Kalinowski), Sofia Karoutsos, Michal Nedjar (Bianca), Aliki Leland (Nick), Albert Tejera (Tori), Frankie Tejera (Maura) and Kylie Tejera (Maddie).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (10103 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20902). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
