She was predeceased by: her husband William Dollard Commins, Jr.; her parents, Victor Gies and Olive Gies; and her son-in-law David Mykita. She is survived by: her children, William H. Commins (Lori), Victoria Commins, Mark Commins (Monica Mische), Paul Commins (Rochelle), MaryAnne Shvodian (William) and Margaret Bryson (Jay).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Jane Francis de Chantal Catholic Church (9601 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814).
