She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Syrian; her husband Ray Rashid of Fort Madison; her daughter Teel; her siblings, Ruth McCauley, Mary Elias, Abe, George and Joseph Norman; her daughters, Matilda Bardi (Washington, DC) and Emmy Rashid (Chevy Chase, MD); and her grandchildren, Marie, Madeline and John Bardi. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, an organization that Dr. Rashid has supported since its inception.
