Lefteris Karmiris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lefteris Karmiris of Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lefteris may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lefteris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Theodosia (Soula); his children, George (Theodora) and Dimitri (Julia); and his sister Olga Houliaria.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
