He was predeceased by: his parents, Loetta "Midge" Schoenholz (Theodore "Dick" Johnson) and Larry; and his sister Beverly Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Mulroy and Kelly Caraballo (Arturo); his grandchildren, Isabella, Alex, Olivia Caraballo, Reece, Laura Mulroy and Lynn Contino; his son-in-law Kyle Mulroy; and his siblings, Michael Johnson (Robyn) and Barbara Johnson (Ruth Gresser).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Homes, Inc. - Bethesda (7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the River Road Universalist Unitarian Congregation (6301 River Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations in Larry's memory be made to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation (http://www.oif.org.) and The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (http://www.trfinc.org.).
