He is survived by: his children, Mahesh Vasanth, Pallavisree Tambraparani, Nicole Vasanth and Lakshmipathy Tambrabarani; his grandchildren, Asha and Jayan Vasanth; his brother Radhakrishna; and his spouse Ushadevi (India). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
