She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Binoy Goswami and Mahamaya Goswami (Ledo). She is survived by: her daughter Ipsita Mukherjee; her son-in-law Joerg Rothenbuehler; and her sister Sukla Chakrabarty.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Homes, Inc. - Bethesda (7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
