It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Healy Carnahan of Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Carnahan; her sisters, Rosemary Tynan and Margaret Ebel; and her parents, Lon Healy and Margaret Healy.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Batson, Megan Carnahan, Eileen Lau and Kevin Carnahan; her grandchildren, Connor Lau, Megan Lau, James Lau, Sandra Batson Hyer and Matt Batson; and her great grandchild Stella Hyer.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Church (6900 River Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
