It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Carol Kling Simanek (Bethesda, Maryland), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kling and Edith Kling (Miles). She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi Smigocki (Michael), Gaithersburg, MD, Erica Simanek, Kristin Simanek (Mark Richardson) and Wolfsville, MD; her sister Ann Allen (Tom); and her grandchildren, Kory, Kimberly Smigocki, Catrina and Cleo Russell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
