He is survived by: his wife Edna Fortune Lynott (Kane); his children, Kathleen Scheld (Charlie) of Yorktown Heights, NY, Joseph A Lynott, III (Megan) of Bethesda, Patricia Bonan (James) of Potomac and Maryellyn Timlin Lynott of Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Kim), Kathleen, Brendan (Dana), Marybeth Scheld, Marielle, Patrick, Michael Lynott, Nicole and Jamie Bonan.
