With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John G. Mergner (Bethesda, Maryland), who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fred" C. Mergner and Agnes Vivian Mergner (Meinberg); his siblings, Helena, Henry, Elizabeth and Frederick "Fred"; and his former wife Mary Katherine "Kathy" Mergner.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Mergner Ryan (Gerry), Jack Mergner (Chrissy), Kenneth Mergner (Annika), Susan Mergner Ribot (Stephane) and Thomas Mergner (Stacey); his grandchildren, Kelly, Michael, Megan, Melissa, Patrick, Debbie, Michelle, Scott, Tyler, Alex and Oliver; his great grandchildren, Saige, Bodie, Olivia, Charlie and Thomas; and his close friend John.
