With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Chien-Kuo Wan of Bethesda, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As John Chien-Kuo departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Chien-Kuo. Though John Chien-Kuo may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; and his children, Chanda (Jon) and Jason (Vanessa).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne of Sunset Church or your local Catholic Charity.
