She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Rutland and Margaret Sullivan Rutland; her stepson David G. Spokely, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Scott Williams and Gene Lucas; her grandson Owen Valdes; and her nephew Danny Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hirsch (Rich) of New York, NY, Alicia Williams of San Francisco, CA, Erika Lucas of Ocean City, MD, Chris Valdes (Leigh Anne) of Kensington, MD and Jeannie Williams (John) of Silver Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Kenny Hirsch (Vanessa), Andy Hirsch, Chandler Williams, Hugh Williams, Will Valdes, Diana Rekos, Cyndi Rekos, Deb Rekos, David Spokely and Danny Spokely (Lizzie); her great grandchildren, Marty Hirsch, Luna Hirsch and Everitt Beecher; her niece Heather Palmeter; and her nephew Billy Andrews.
