He is survived by: his close friend Wandee Phongthong; his daughter Lisa Crystal (Mark Houts); his sister Sharon Berman; his grandchildren, Nina Houts, Ian Houts and Graham Houts; his nephew Dean Berman (Susan); and his nieces, Kelly Sokal (Eli) and Julie Schwartz (Phil).
