He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sears and Nina Sears. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sisters, Treva Miller (Clay) and Nancy Crouse (Richard); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Holst (Peter), John Simses (Connie) and Robert Simses (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
