Florence M. Allen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence M. Allen (Bethesda, Maryland), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Florence departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Florence may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Florence leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; and her parents, James MacBride and Mildred MacBride. She is survived by: her children, Christopher, Constance and Roger; and also, Edie Allen, Bruce Delaplaine, Eleanore Fox, James Witte and James MacBride.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Writer's Center (4508 Walsh St, Bethesda, MD 20815).
