He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sima Bierly; his children, Eugene Bierly (Susan) of Poolesville, Jeannine Bierly Asher (David) of Huron and Pamela Bierly Jusino (Eddie) of Farmington Hills, Michigan; his grandchildren, Chris Asher (Jenna), Matt Asher, Emmett Stewart (Jen), Tyler Bierly (Leah), Charlotte Mae Ellison and Dakota Bierly; and also, Riley Asher, Aiden Asher, Logan Asher, Torren Stewart and Theo Bierly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Meteorological Society.
