He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Cather and Mary Cather; and his wife Victoria Lynn Dales Cather. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia G. Cather of Hemmingway, SC and William L. Cather; his sister-in-law Mary H. Cather; and his nephew Nicholas D. Cather of Mansfield, TX. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
