We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 62, Dilip Roopchand (Bethesda, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Dilip farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dilip is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karmalall Mahadoodrie and Kashturi Mahadoodrie; his siblings, Savitri Gomes, Judy Kirton, Lakeram Roopchand and Kishore Roopchand; his siblings-in-law, Euclin, Ruby, Annie and John; and his child Aneesa Roopchand.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Homes, Inc. - Bethesda (7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
